Mark Montano, Celebrity Designer
Mark Montano (www.markmontano.com) is a designer, TV host and best-selling author. He writes THE BIG-ASS CRAFT BOOK series (Simon & Schuster), which are the best selling craft books in the U.S. He's worked in television for over 12 years on shows like While You Were Out on TLC, 10 Years Younger on TLC, She's Moving In on WEtv, My Celebrity Home on Style, Tony Danza on ABC, My Home 2.0 on FOX, and currently Make Your Mark! on PBS/APT. Mark is a Creative Consultant for DecoArt and a Creative Director for Eclectic Products, makers of E-6000. You can see him weekly on YouTube.

Helen Castillo, Project Runway
Beginning her fashion studies at the Fashion Institute of Technology at age 13, Helen Castillo (www.designerhelen.com) continued to pursue her career in fashion fulfilling four years at FIT and graduated in 2012 with a Bachelors Degree in Special Occasion design/Couture studies. After numerous internships, some of which included Vera Wang Bridal House and Vivienne Westwood (London, UK) ambition took her on to bigger opportunities with becoming a finalist on back to back seasons of Project Runway Season 12 and Project Runway All Stars Season 4 and more recently Project Runway All Starts Season 6. Having designed Mary Lambert's 54th Grammy performance and red carpet gowns working with Madonna's stylist B. Akerlund to compliment her performance look, the exposure launched her career and she was personally recruited by Zac Posen to work for him as a designer after PRAS Season 4. Lifetime reached out to Helen again for PRAS Season 6 as a 'Veteran' designer to compete and rank as the last standing female designer. As of 2016 Helen is officially located in New York City's garment district with the convenience to her clients being centrally located in the fashion capital of the world. Having participated in sponsored regional fashion events, Helen's clientele is not restricted to the USA, but many clients are international with whom she documents most candid design experience and processed through her various Verified social media accounts. Helen Castillo has gained outstanding international support from fans and clients alike. Creating all private commissioned pieces in house, bespoke, made-to-measure, Helen's Bridal and evening wear/red-carpet pieces are in constant production at the NYC atelier. Most recently Helen has pursued interests in becoming a Fashion Design Teacher and is completing her Masters Degree in Education, this has sparked interest in her ambition to eventually become a college professor and share her design aesthetic and knowledge with international students.

Benjamin Mach, Project Runway
Benjamin Mach (www.benjaminmach.com) is an Australian fashion designer based in New York. The past decade Mach’s career has included working for notable brands, Marchesa, WINTLE and Roberto Torretta since graduating from the esteemed Sydney Institute of Technology, Fashion Design Studio. Benjamin also featured as the first Australian designer to be a contestant on the original US series ‘Project Runway’ (SEASON 11) in 2013 and returning to compete in 'Project Runway ALL STARS' (SEASON 4) in 2014. Mach is now establishing himself on the fashion map with his independent brand BENJAMIN MACH. Launched in NYC, his first capsule collection was influenced by the art deco era and took inspiration from the chic and timeless style of Halston in his heyday and the urbanely sensual approach of Madeline Vionnet and her technical innovation, themes that continue through much of Mach's design. Louis Boria, the Subway Knitter
Louis Boria (www.brooklynboyknits.com) is the creator, designer and owner behind Brooklyn Boy Knits, which makes one-of-a-kind knits designed by hand and inspired by Brooklyn. Louis became a viral sensation and was coined the "Subway Knitter" when former American Idol contestant Frenchie Davis posted a picture of him knitting on the subway to her Facebook page. Louis is also one of Lion Brand Yarn’s Ambassadors.
Louis will talk about his passion for knitting and how a chance encounter led to fame on Sunday, September 30 at 2:30pm on the Creator Stage. He will also talk about #HatNotHate, a campaign that Lion Brand has launched against bullying.

You can tell a lot about Marly Bird (www.marlybird.com) just by the hats she wears. She is an avid crocheter and knitter who loves to share her passion with students. Balancing her day as wife, mommy, designer, National Spokesperson for Red Heart Yarns, teacher and podcast host is a challenge, but Marly wouldn’t change any of it. It has been an wild ride since her first published patterns in Fall of 2008 (Fino Mittones, Interweave Crochet Fall 2008 and Eyelet Hat and Scarf, Knit Simple Magazine Holiday 2008). Marly is author of I Can’t Believe I’m Knitting Entrelac (Leisure Arts, 2013), co-author of Knitting for Dummies 3rd ed. Lynn Lilly is the founder of Craft Box Girls (www.craftboxgirls.com), a website and Apple TV App for all things DIY, kids crafts, party inspiration and recipes! Lynn is also author of Screen-Free Crafts Kids Will Love (Ulysses Press) and DIY Expert with over 300 television segments in the last three years. Lynn loves to share her passion for simple do it yourself crafts that will inspire even the non-crafters to get creative!

Jessie Rayout (www.jessieathome.com) is a crochet and knit designer, a crafter, a blogger, and a mother of twins. She has been crocheting since she was 8, and knitting since she was 28. She started her blog, Jessie At Home, in 2007 as a way to share photos and stories of her twin girls with her family. Eventually she started adding crafty posts in, then patterns, and it just kept evolving until it became the fun crochet, knit, craft and family blog that it is today. Since then Jessie has earned several awards and has had patterns published in various on and off line crochet and knit publications.

Marie Segares is a craft blogger, crochet and knitting designer, teacher, podcaster, writer, college professor, and small business consultant. Marie shares crochet and knitting patterns, craft projects and tutorials, and recipes on her blog as Underground Crafter (www.undergroundcrafter.com). Marie's patterns, tutorials, and articles have been published in Crochet World, I Like Crochet, I Like Knitting, Inside Crochet, Love of Crochet, Love of Knitting, Pom Pom Quarterly, and the Quick & Simple Crochet booklet series. In addition to teaching crochet and knitting classes locally, Marie has also taught or presented at BlogHer, Creativation, Finger Lakes Fiber Arts Festival, North Jersey Fiber Arts Festival, Pittsburgh Knit and Crochet Festival, Snap! Conference, and #WeAllGrow Summit by Latina Bloggers Connect. Marie is a graduate of Barnard College. She earned her MPH at Columbia University and her MBA at New York University. She is currently enrolled in EdD program in Organizational Leadership Studies at Northeastern University.
