In the MKNG was born out of a desire to inspire creativity across demographics and generations. At its core, In the MKNG is an outdoor festival that celebrates creativity, imagination, inspiration and the art of making in its many forms. It’s a gathering of 10,000 people who love to make, DIY, create and craft, including makers themselves who share and sell their work there. The event includes live demonstrations, interactive activities, charity involvement, food, music and a lot of family fun!

how do I get involved?

 
Reserve a space on the festival grounds! In your space you can:

  • Promote your products and brands
  • Conduct demos and make-n-takes
  • Host a creative contest
  • Have consumers contribute to a project that will be donated to charity
  • Sell your products or work with a local retailer to sell your products
  • Hand out coupons that can be redeemed at retail
  • Feature a Creator or find an AFCI Creator to work with
  • Gain valuable consumer feedback through surveys, focus groups, etc.
